The Carpathian Balkan Geological Association, CBGA, invites all who are working on geoconservation and promotion of geological heritage to participate at the meeting and the Special Session 29 "Promoting geoconservation in South Eastern Europe - Geoparks" that will take place during the 19th Congress of of the CBGA, 23–26 September 2010 in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The Organizing Committee would like to clarify the following:
1. Deadline for full paper submission is now extended to the 31 December 2009, being also the date for early registration.
2. Deadline for abstract submission is the 30 April 2010.
3. The S29 session welcomes both full papers or articles.
4. After communication with the Editors of GEOHERITAGE journal, Springer, it has been arranged that selected articles will be invited to participate in a Special Issue after peer review.
