Dear Colleague, WELCOME!
Are you thinking of becoming a member of ProGEO, The European Association for the Conservation of the Geological Heritage? All with an interest in furthering the aims of geoconservation are welcome to join the Association. Our Association works through national groups, regional working groups and ProGEO as a whole, particularly through its international conferences and symposia, and through collaboration with other international bodies. Members are encouraged to contribute to the efforts of ProGEO at all these levels. It is ProGEO's aim to form a working network of members and contacts in each country of Europe.
JOINING ProGEO
To join, simply fill in and sign a registration form applying to join and then pay the fee. Present the necessary details (name, address, etc.) and, particularly, an e-mail address. If you have general questions, write to or e-mail the Executive Secretary (address below). If you have colleagues who you wish to join, please have them contact the Executive Secretary.
There are two optional forms of membership of ProGEO: Individual membership or Institutional membership (see also information about the membership categories). If you represent a national committee, an official organisation or an institution as their delegate to ProGEO, so to speak, then it is expected that you will join as Institutional member.

FEES
Individual membership: € 25 + bank charges
(Members from some of the former Soviet countries or countries which do not yet have fully developed open-market economies, are currently exempted from full membership fee payment, and are offered reduced membership fees. Please contact Treasurer for details).
Individual membership incl. Geoheritage Journal subscription: € 50 + bank charges (from 2009)
Institutional membership incl. Geoheritage Journal subscription: € 185 + bank charges (from 2009)

You have now the possibility to choose between credit card Internet payment and traditional bank transfer (as before). Do not use cheques. The payment tool used for Internet payments is the service PayPal. If you prefer this option, please use the boxes and the button below. You will then be linked to a PayPal web page where you fill in the details. It is free of charge to pay, and ProGEO will not be able to see any bank account number or credit/pay card number.
